First post

This is the first post of Rainy Day Gospel. I'm not sure what this blog is going to turn into. I've had this spot reserved for a few months, and I figured it was time to use it. I suppose it's likely that this blog will reflect my interests in music, writing, psychology, philosophy, and science. I'm going to use this as a place to explore, and hopefully I won't lose focus or let it become too navel-gazing.
